7. Smart Contracts and Asset Tokenization

Asset tokenization generally refers to a digital representation of an asset, right or defined interest. Smart-contract logic may support selected lifecycle rules or record references for such digital representations, but tokenization does not remove the need for clear rights, custody, legal documentation, disclosures, eligibility checks and regulatory review.

Responsible perspective. Any future tokenization-related initiative would require its own technical, legal, operational and risk assessment. Availability may vary by jurisdiction, structure, purpose and applicable requirements.
